NextStepz is a Career Guidance, Preparation and Employability project. It is split into two programmes, one working with 14-16 year olds and another working with 16-25 year olds.

Our work with 14-16 year olds is centred around working with young people in year 10 and 11, specifically those from BAME backgrounds and those who come from disadvantaged backgrounds, to release their potentials and support them in thinking about their future prospects through work experience, insight days with companies and workshops.

Some of our past workshops have included:

Routes into Employment

Apprenticeships vs Further Education

Passion + Qualifications/Experience = Dream Job?

Our work with 16-25 year olds is centred around supporting those from lower economic backgrounds, with Career planning, CV & Interview support, Insight days with potential employees, Job hunting, Mentoring, Work Experience, and the provision of clothing for interviews.

If you are interested in having the NextStepz programme delivered in your school, college or youth club or you are a young person who would like to join one of the programmes, please send our friendly team an email info@animayouth.co.uk
