As a youth-led organisation, we continue to ensure our work is led and informed by young people but that we are also giving them a voice to change society. Our CEO and 4 young people were invited from Anima Youth to speak to the Southwark Education Scrunity about what the government can do to help young people’s transition back into education post-pandemic. The discussion led to the Southwark Education Scrutiny committee proposing recommendations to the Cabinet member for children young people and schools based on what our young people highlighted. Some highlights included the need for youth-friendly counselling availability for school children.
